This summer, BC wildfires have impacted thousands of people across the province who have lost many of their valuable belongings.

During difficult times like this, it’s important more than ever before to come together as a community to help our neighbours.

We are happy to announce that members of the Gentai Capital team have raised $716.36 for United Way BC. All proceeds to go directly to wildfire relief efforts. In addition, Gentai Capital matched the funds raised by our team members to bring the grand total to $1,432.72

“Thank you to all who donated. We appreciated the time you have taken from your busy work schedule to help Gentai’s involvement within the community,” said Eva Pate, Human Resources Manager at Gentai Capital.

“This is a testament of your being an ambassador of Gentai’s values of Integrity, Excellency, and Passion!”

For every dollar donated to United Way BC, Interior Savings and Gulf & Fraser announced that they would be matching it up to $20,000.

“Gentai has been pleased to enjoy tremendous growth that’s been supported by our investors, borrowers, business partners and our communities,” said Tina Mu, President of Gentai Capital.

“People in our beautiful province of BC suffered due to this natural disaster, and once again, it was time for Gentai to give back. United Way has been responding promptly to take action on this matter. Together with United Way, we extend our hands to the people who need the help,” added Tina Mu.

As one of Canada’s leading private lenders and asset managers, we deeply value each client and industry partner we get the opportunity to work with. The same goes for our local communities and the people that make them so special.

We believe that it is important to invest for another reason: to build vibrant, healthy communities where people want to live, work and play. Whether it’s providing scholarships or donating to causes that matter to us, we understand the importance of contributing to the well-being of our communities.
